Born and raised in Hawaii, I am proud father of 2 with a passion to serve Jesus Christ. I continually strive to be a positive role model for and influence on my sons and relationships. My goals are to have a favorable impact, big or small, on “all” lives that cross my path and to help make “our” world a better place before leaving. I love the Lord, fiancé and truly best friend Lisa B., my family, people, music, fishing, swimming, diving, UH sports, collecting unusual watches and playing slack-key guitar. I try extremely hard not to take life or health for granted and find much joy in doing fun things! Lastly and least important, professionally, I have a strong financial background with various levels of sales, marketing and business development expertise.
Thank you for visiting and much blessings from Him!

Aloha Wes! Glad I found you here. I wondered why I hadn’t heard from you on Twitter in a while, and then found your account had been deleted. Hope you’re doing well.
Hey Peter,
Yea I was getting so addicted to twitter. Found myself on my iPhone while watching TV/DVD’s from BlockBusters, while doing my walks or even on gotomeeting conference calls! I do miss great folks like you! On positive…at least I am able to peruse your site and still enjoy fabulous shots. My fiance’ keeps asking me to reactivate it. I’m just afraid I’ll go overboard again:-), LOL!
Hey Pan Am Bag Boy!
Missed you at the dinner at Legend’s. Mel won first prize for immitating Mario. What a crack up.
Pastor Fernando is doing a fantastic series on “vows”…. marriage stuff. It’s fantastic. I wish I could have tied up and dragged Mel there. PF even talked about priorities and even not making the church your top priority. It’s God #1, and your spouse #2, children #3. But…. I can’t force him to go
Hi Bo,
Sorry it was my birthday and was celebrated with family and friends. Heard the dinner went very well and everyone had a great time! I wish I could hear Mel’s impersonation…maybe at Monday’s meeting???
God Bless you!
Wes
eh… that color blindness pre-halloween test?? you going get lickings… pan am bag boy!
Nice blog Wes. I like your positive messages.
Thanks Dave for your kind words. I love your writings in the Star Bulletin too. I also very much appreciate that you speak/write from your heart. You always seem to be honest and objective in calling things like it is, which more often than not, is spot on! I sure hope your 5-8 best-case UH Warrior win loss record prediction comes true. At this point, I’ll be happy with it:-)! Wes
Hi Wes! I just watched the slide show of your son’s and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The pictures were wonderful! The event seemed very electric. The couple looks very happy and in love. Was there a combined Christian and another religious ceremony? I did not see you in the pictures but I watched the slide show so the pictures moved rapidly. Both you and I married a son this year. My son was wed on April 17th.
I hope you are doing well. I loved your scenic pictures on Flickr. I recognize some of the scenes. Is this the time of year when the waves are huge? If the waves were as high in Tampa/St Petersburg as they get on the west side of Oahu, the land mass here would be completely under water.
I am surprised the Pro Bowl is going to be here in Miami this year. It does not seem right for the Pro Bowl not to be in Hawaii. About 15 years ago, my wife and I were in Honolulu for a real estate convention and we were able to snag some tickets to the Pro Bowl. We had a great time along with the wonderful Hawaiian experience and the commercial luau, which was fun! I did not eat the poi though. I heard the stories. Someday I would like to see the island with the volcano and the mountain with the snow.
Take care and enjoy the splendor of Hawaii.
Warm regards,
Gary
Hi Gary,
Thank you for dropping by and sharing! Congratulations too on your son’s wedding. Grandchild soon? Actually the service was a Christian service with two ministers just from diffferent churches:-). Yes this year the waves have been epic! They even had the Eddie Aikau surf meet this year which is only held when waves are at least 25 feet at Waimea Bay. Re. the pro bowl…was a bummer it moved this year to try to have it coincide with the Super Bowl. I believe it’ll be back in Hawaii next year.
Take Care My Friend!
Wes
