1 Corinthians 2:16
For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.
Life Lesson
Today’s word (Word Of Reflection Daily) begins as Paul preaches wisdom. About knowing and acknowledging the Holy Spirit. About allowing Holy Spirit to help and guide him while also recognizing the importance of studying (God’s word). Moreover, about being prepared when preaching the Good News.
In meditating over today’s passage the thought which comes to mind is we as Christians can learn much from Paul as an experienced and trusted advisor. If, and it’s a big if, we allow his life and life lessons to mentor us. Furthermore, if we recognize that his life and life lessons then are still very relevant now. In other words, timeless and applicable even in today’s times.
Hence, my take away today is realizing through the Holy Spirit that we can begin to know God better and gain better insight into his plans, thoughts and actions. And realizing also that an intimate relationship and having the same attitude as Christ Jesus comes from spending more time in his word and in his presence through prayer.
